On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, a tour of the new buildings (GX and DXR buildings) of Niigata University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences and Nagaoka University of Technology, our partner universities, was held under the auspices of the Nagaoka University of Technology Education and Research Foundation for Technology Development. On the day of the tour, about 15 people, including students of the university and people from companies, participated.

　In the morning, the students visited Niigata University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, where they were given a tour of the latest research facilities and experimental equipment related to regional cooperation by Dr. Hiroshi Takahisa, Dean of the School of Applied Life Sciences. Being exposed to the advanced research environment in the fields of pharmacy and life sciences was a very stimulating opportunity for the students, who aim to solve problems in the international community and in the local community.

　In the afternoon, the participants returned to the University and toured the Regional GX Innovation Co-Creation Center (GX Building) and the DXR Manufacturing Open Innovation Center (DXR). Seeing firsthand the cutting-edge centers that support Green Transformation (GX) and Digital Transformation (DX) and Cross Reality (XR), many participants expressed their expectations for future joint research and social implementation.

　Through this project, we will continue to strongly promote research and development utilizing local resources, human resource development for the next generation, and international industry-academia-government collaboration.
