On Monday, March 30, 2026, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) announced the selected research units for the second call of its "Research Unit Development Support Projects" under the J-PEAKS project.

This initiative aims to further develop the university’s core research strengths and establish international research hubs. Following a rigorous selection process, five new units have been chosen for support.

With this newly selected unit at the forefront, NUT will continue to strongly promote the integration of interdisciplinary research, the nurturing of young researchers, and initiatives focused on solving global social issues.
