【Upcoming Event】DXR Manufacturing Platform Special Seminar: Understanding the Future of AM (Additive Manufacturing)/ April 28, 2026
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) will host a special seminar titled "DXR Manufacturing Platform Special Seminar."
3D printing and AM (Additive Manufacturing) technologies are evolving at a rapid pace. However, due to this speed, it is often difficult to get a clear, balanced picture of the entire technological landscape. Many businesses face practical hurdles, such as wondering where to begin, or what budgets and staffing are required for implementation.
In this installment of our "Understanding AM" series, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Thomas Pang, President of Additive Japan K.K. and Specially Appointed Professor at NUT. He will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Fundamentals & Techniques: Understanding the essence of the ever-evolving AM process.
- Latest Applications: Knowing what is happening on the global frontlines.
- Business Strategy: Obtaining concrete tips for overcoming hurdles to commercialization and mass production.
We hope this seminar provides you with a clear "Aha!" moment."—feeling that "This is what AM is all about!"—"and serves as a catalyst for taking the next step toward implementing AM at your respective sites.
Through the J-PEAKS project, NUT will continue to foster next-generation manufacturing talent and return innovative technologies to the local and international community. We look forward to your participation.
