On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) hosted a special lecture featuring Professor Gavin Kearney and Dr. Michael McLoughlin from the University of York, UK, a J-PEAKS participating institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the lectures, the professors introduced their cutting-edge research and the features of the University of York's AudioLab. Not only Japanese students but also many international students attended the venue, and the event concluded on a highly engaging note with an active Q&A session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is expected that the visit to Japan and the lectures by the professors will further enhance mutual exchange between NUT and the University of York. Through this project, NUT will continue to promote research exchanges with partner universities and advance initiatives to accelerate and raise the level of international development and social implementation of its research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
