Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) set up a booth at the “JSPS Research Fellows-DC Friendship Meeting 2026,” held at Pacifico Yokohama on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

This event is a networking gathering that brings together Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellows. On the day of the event, approximately 700 young researchers from across the country gathered to engage in discussions on topics such as networking across university and research field boundaries, as well as career paths.

The university participated as one of the “J-PEAKS Selected Universities” booths and introduced its vision and initiatives as a “SX (Sustainability Transformation) Research University that creates social impact” to the many young researchers who visited the booth.

NUT also widely promoted the university’s attractions, such as its cutting-edge research environment and its unique support system that enables young researchers to independently and freely pursue their research.
