On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) welcomed member companies of the Nagaoka University of Technology Cooperative Association to a tour of the research facilities.

President Shigeharu Kamado gave an opening address, followed by an introduction of the "Innovation Commons," the university's facility development plan. This was followed by a tour of the Regional GX Innovation Co-Creation Center (GX Building), the DXR Agile Manufacturing Research and Development Center (DXR Building), and the Technology Development Center, which serve as centers for co-creation with the local community and industry. Participants were divided into three groups to get an up-close look at the state-of-the-art research environment and facilities at NUT. During the tour, participants asked many questions to the staff in charge, providing a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of NUT’s education and research activities.

Through this project, NUT will continue to promote the creation of innovation through co-creation by further strengthening cooperation with local communities and industries.
