The University Library at NUT has been Renovated
As the core of the "Innovation Commons" initiative promoted by Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), the library has taken a new step forward. This hub consists of the "Co-creation and Exchange Zone,"which features open-space facilities designed to foster intellectual, community, and international exchange, and the "Co-creation Research Zone". The former creates spaces for vibrant interaction, while the latter comprises cutting-edge research facilities such as the GX Building (Regional GX Innovation Co-creation Center) and the DXR Building (DXR Manufacturing Open Innovation Center). In conjunction with the library's renovation, the "NIP Agora"presentation area and the Learning Commons have also been established and are now open for use.
Following the renovation, the Learning Commons has already become a lively hub for intellectual exchange, with faculty, staff, and students engaging in enthusiastic discussions every day. The NUT Library is open not only to the university community but also to the general public. The newly renovated, open space provides an inviting environment where members of the local community can enjoy reading and conducting research.
When you visit NUT, please stop by the newly transformed University Library. A breath of innovation and wonderful "new discoveries" await you.
