Launch of the "Laboratory for the Science of Fermentation" in the GX Center Featured on JNN News
The launch of the new "Laboratory for the Science of Fermentation" within the Regional GX Innovation Co-Creation Center at Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) was featured on JNN News (TBS NEWS DIG/BSN).The laboratory is led by Professor Wataru Ogasawara, who serves as the Director for Strategic Objective 4 (Strengthening the Functions of the Center for Co-Creation) of the J-PEAKS Project. The mission of the lab is to scientifically analyze traditional Japanese fermentation culture and demonstrate its objective value to the global community. Through this initiative, NUT will significantly accelerate its research and development, along with human resource cultivation, by maximizing the potential of local resources. Furthermore, the university remains committed to driving international industry-academia-government collaboration through the "J-PEAKS" program to foster social innovation.
