On April 2, 2026, Dr. Paphakorn Pitayachaval, Head of the Industrial Engineering Laboratory at Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand, along with 10 representatives from Thai universities and research institutes, visited Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT).

During the visit, NUT faculty and staff, along with Executive Vice President Tadachika Nakayama, engaged in a lively exchange of views on strengthening future collaboration in education and research.

　The group toured the Regional GX Innovation Co-Creation Center and the DXR Manufacturing Open Innovation Center, which are the regional GX and DX hubs promoted by NUT. They enthusiastically observed the state-of-the-art research facilities and the "J-PEAKS" project, which aims to transform local communities, and showed deep interest in NUT's cutting-edge education and research environment.

　Through the "J-PEAKS" program, NUT will continue to further deepen its international collaboration with overseas institutions and strive to foster young human resources with a global perspective and promote social change.
