On Thursday, April 16, 2026, a special lecture for the "LEAN LAUNCHPAD PROGRAM NAGAOKA 2026" will be held at Kome Hyappyo Place Miraie Nagaoka. This kick-off event is hosted by Nagaoka City and co-sponsored by the NaDeC Initiative Promotion Consortium, in which Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) participates.

This 10-week entrepreneurship development program features Mr. Takashi Tsutsumi, President of Startup Brain Inc., as the main lecturer. Over seven practical sessions, participants will master business start-up methodologies, including "idea generation."

In strong collaboration with Nagaoka City, three other universities, and one college of technology located in the city, NUT is committed to supporting the creation of university-born startups. By working closely with the city, we will continue to nurture the "from zero to one" business creation capabilities and the entrepreneurial spirit of local talent, accelerating efforts toward regional innovation.
