On Monday, December 1, 2025, the 8th meeting of "Microbial Explorers" was held at the Co-Creation Innovation Lab (KIBINOVE) on Okayama University’s Tsushima Campus. This initiative, organized by Okayama University, focuses on interdisciplinary fusion and the establishment of international research hubs.

From Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), the following members took the podium to share their expertise and engage in a lively exchange of ideas with participants: Professor Wataru Ogasawara; Specially Appointed Professor Teiichi Oya; Specially Appointed Professor Toru Nakamura; and Senior URA / Specially Appointed Associate Professor Yoshiyuki Suzuki.

This meeting served as an extremely meaningful opportunity to further accelerate and deepen research collaboration among J-PEAKS-adopted universities through the shared focus on "microorganisms."
