Participation in the "Convergent Knowledge for Designing Future Society" Workshop Hosted by the Cabinet Office
On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Prof. Tadachika Nakayama, Executive Vice President for J-PEAKS, Specially Appointed Professor Kenji Kato, and three graduate students from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) participated in the workshop "Convergent Knowledge for Designing Future Society" organized by the Cabinet Office at Keio University.
In addition to keynote speeches and panel discussions, the workshop featured group work with participants from diverse backgrounds. Participants from NUT engaged with members from industry, academia, and government to develop concrete proposals for social change utilizing "Convergent Knowledge.
This participation provided a valuable opportunity to deepen our understanding of the creation of new social value based on co-creation with multi-stakeholders. NUT will continue to contribute to the design of future society by integrating diverse knowledge through the J-PEAKS project.
