1991-1998Held various positions at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry / Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, including Legal Examiner of the Trade Policy Bureau

1998-2002　Counsellor, Permanent Mission of Japan to the International Organizations in Geneva, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

2003–August 2025Counsellor, Rules Division, World Trade Organization (WTO)
