NUT Delegates Visit JSPS London for Information Exchange on UK Research Trends / March 10, 2026

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Senior URA(Research Administrator) Tomomi Kuribayashi and URA Hiroyuki Saito from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) visited the JSPS London Research Liaison Center in the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, the NUT delegates provided an overview of the "Nagaoka University of Technology J-PEAKS Project" and engaged in a productive information exchange with Professor Masahiko Hara, Director of JSPS London, and Mr. Daiki Sato, Deputy Director, regarding the latest trends in the UK research evaluation system.

As participating institutions in this project, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Bristol, the University of York, and the University of Sheffield are involved, and NUT plans to build a robust network with them moving forward.

NUT will continue to deepen its cooperation with the UK and other overseas partners to strengthen research capabilities and strive to create a global social impact.
