On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, we welcomed Lecturer Shuhei Miyashita and Associate Professor Dana Damian and their spouses from the University of Sheffield, UK, to give a lecture at Hybrid.

The University of Sheffield, the participating institution in this project, is a national university based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, located in the central region of England, and is ranked in the top 100 universities in the world.

Both are affiliated with the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and are conducting research on biomedical robots and medical robotics.

After the lecture, the couple who came to the school with their children asked questions from a variety of perspectives, making this a very valuable opportunity.

We will continue to promote the strengthening of efforts in various forms with participating institutions to realize research collaboration.
