President Kamado introduces the University's initiatives at the JSPS-sponsored "J-PEAKS Symposium 2025".
On Monday, August 4, 2025, the "Symposium on the Project to Promote the Strengthening of Regional Core and Distinctive Research Universities 2025" (hosted by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and co-hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) was held at the Japan Industrial Club building.
The purpose of this symposium was to widely disseminate J-PEAKS, introduce the initiatives of the universities selected in FY2024, and support exchanges among the selected universities and matching between them and industry.
President Kamado explained the university's strategy, initiatives, implementation system, and facilities to realize a world-class "Social Impact-Creating SX Research University" that will promote both social sustainability and university sustainability.
