On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, a symposium hosted by Okayama University was held at the Okayama Convention Center. Four members from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) attended the event: Prof. Nakayama（Executive Vice President）, Chief Deputy Technical Manager Kondo (Center for Integrated Technology Support) , and Chief URA Takei and URA Saito (Head Office for Research Strategy).

In the first session’s panel discussion, Vice President Nakayama served as a panelist and delivered a presentation titled "Accelerating Co-Creation by Sharing Infrastructure (Resources) and Models to Improve Competitiveness through Speed and Quality.”

In the second session, "Connecting Knowledge and Technology to Foster the Ability to Support Each Other" - Toward a Future of Co-Creation Born from the Sharing of Tacit Knowledge,” Mr. Kondo participated as an expert contributor.

As institutions selected for the J-PEAKS project, both universities will continue to collaborate actively to form a research university cluster that leads the development of research capabilities across Japan.
