On April 8, 2026, the cherry blossoms at Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) reached full bloom.

The "NUT Sakura Stroll Festival" will be held this weekend, April 11 (Sat.) and 12 (Sun.). Our famous "Sakura Avenue" features over 100 Somei Yoshino cherry trees, creating a magnificent floral arch for visitors to enjoy.

During the event period, Sakura Avenue will be designated as a pedestrian-only zone (except for official business vehicles) to ensure a safe and pleasant environment. Additionally, the university cafeteria will be open from 11:00 to 13:30, so please feel free to stop by.
